We provide general concrete construction services, specialising in slip formed 'kerb and channel' and general concrete works associated with road and subdivision construction.

Kerb & ChannelOver 20 kerb profiles are available, including standard kerb & channel, low profile kerb & channel, mountable kerbs, & dish channels. All kerb profiles required for Council approved projects are available.  View our kerb images here.
 
Independent Kerb & Concrete owns four kerb machines which are available for use on various projects. The company also owns a bobcat loader which is used to complete the final base preparation prior to kerbing.

The Company also specialises in construction of concrete footpaths, driveways, vehicle entranceways, sump tops and associated paved thresholds. See our Commercial Gallery

The management and staff who carry out this work, have many years of work experience in the local area and are familiar with the Local Authority standards.

Council Approved Contractor

Independent Kerb & Concrete is an approved contractor for the construction and adjustment of vehicle crossings on both Nelson City Council & Tasman District Council roads & streets. We are able to offer advice on the Council permit and approval system to ensure this work is completed in a timely manner and to the required standard.

Some of our Commercial projects are different. Our staff take pride in completing work projects that are a ‘bit out of the ordinary’. They enjoy the challenge !
